HIS COVENANT

MARRIAGE TIP

TWO BECOMING AS ONE

WHAT GOD SAYS ABOUT DIVORCE

  HIS COVENANT - Marriage Tip

This encouragement truly will cause you to refocus and see if you are doing your part in the marriage. Let us do the word. Sis. Shana

It should always be remembered that love is not a feeling, it is a choice, a decision!

Yes, you get all of those wonderful feelings when you fall in love but the feelings change over time. When you were asked, "will you marry me?" you made a decision in your life to commit to that person no matter what. During your vows you agree to love and care for your husband in every situation. You even committed to not exiting the door when things get tough. Satan would like for you to believe that if you do not "feel" like you are in love then you are not. Wrap your mind around it and remember that it is your choice to wake up and love your husband throughout the day. Easily spoken, but not easily implimented!! :)

A great way to measure how you are doing is by reading 1 Corinthians.

The definition of what "love is" is from:

1 Corinthians 13

4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
