Book One

"That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, bring fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God" (Colossians. 1:10).

The first item that must be addressed in Armourbearing is to face the facts. We say use me Lord!!! All I want to do is to serve you Day and Night. The first fact is to acknowledge that you are going to be used. God has need of you in the Body of Christ. "As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter" (Romans 8:36). You must be willing to die for Christ sake. It will cost you everything. Sleep, strength, Prayer, money, and time are just a few items you must be willing to give.

Acts 6:1-4 (KJV) And in those days, when the number of the disciples was multiplied, there arose a murmuring of the Grecians against the Hebrews, because their widows were neglected in the daily ministration. [2] Then the twelve called the multitude of the disciples unto them, and said, It is not reason that we should leave the word of God, and serve tables. [3] Wherefore, brethren, look ye out among you seven men of honest report, full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business. [4] But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word. They chose people who were full of the Holy Ghost and Wisdom to serve tables. You must be willing to do whatever it takes to assist the Man or Woman of God to accomplish their God given Vision.

1 Peter 5:6 (KJV) Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: We must die to our own Motivations, Ministries, and Visions. There is a Due time if we faint not. Galatians 6:9 (KJV) And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. Our only focus should be on serving God. Armourbearing is a Ministry of Helps. You are called to bear up the arms of a Leader, to serve and assist the Saints of God with their God given Visions and Assignments. You shall reap what you sow. Everything works within Kingdom principles. We must apply Biblical principles and practical applications to move corporately and effectively as an Armourbearer. Luke 6:38 (KJV) Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom.

For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again. But if you don’t want to receive from people, how do you expect this principle to work? If you think you are to good, too large, or too anointed to serve as an Armourbearer you will always be among the Wounded and unfruitful in the Body of Christ. And when your time comes to be served you may not receive it or you may not know how to handle it because of your lack of knowledge. Armourbearing is not just carrying someone’s bible. It is much more. The greater the anointing or the greater the office requires greater service. Galatians 5:13 (KJV) For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another. "That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, bring fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God" (Colossians. 1:10).
