There are different dimensions to Armour Bearing. On the elementary level we will allow one to serve us without getting to close. Aaron and Hur were intercessors holding up Moses arms during battle but his Armour bearer Joshua was fighting with Amalek. Can you fight the battle, lead the way without thinking that you are greater than Moses? Don’t despise Aaron and Hur for their job was just as important as Joshua’s. As long as Moses Held up his hands Israel prevailed. Don’t faint until the job is done.
Remember Aaron was a Priest and Joshua was a warrior. Moses had laid hands on him encouraged him, and strengthened him according to the instructions of God. Joshua was to cause Israel to inherit the promise land. This was God’s Plan not Joshua’s. We must realize that this ministry is a God given position. Remember each joint supplies. Previous bad experiences prevent us from allowing others to fulfill their God given assignment. Nehemiah was the Kings cupbearer. This was a very intimate position. He tasted everything the King was to drink and eat. If it were poison then he would die and if not then the King would eat after him. He was willing to die for the King. And the King was willing to eat and drink after him. This was major trust. If the king dies what need would the enemy have of you? The Armour Bearer was also an intimate position. When going to battle, the king would have to remove his kingly garments to put on his armor. Everyone will not be able to see the King disrobe. Thus allowing the Armour bearer to witness his nakedness, dirty undergarments, and his weakness. He had to trust the Armour bearer to have his Armour in perfect condition and to put it on Him correctly.
Can you as an Armour Bearer see your leader disrobe and not destroy them. You know, lose respect for them, tell someone about what you saw, or even make fun of them. There are too many lose lips touching God’s anointed in the Body of Christ. Character assignation is a deadly thing in the Body of Christ. A good name is very hard to keep and even harder to regain. If you walk with someone long enough you will see the other side of them. You will see the good, the bad, and the ugly. But with seeing all of that it will not change that they are Royalty. And you are still not to touch God’s anointed and do His prophets no harm. Don’t take your God given duties lightly. You have been entrusted will God Best, Don’t destroy the vessel. Can you Bear brokeness in your leader? Your position is to cover, not expose.
Pray for them like never before for everything God allows you to see. Weapons of war are called implements; A utensil or tool V. To put into effect; to carry out; This is what an Armour Bearer truly is. A Weapon of War. Spirits transfer, Do you have clean hands and a pure heart? If your Armour Bearer is lusting, lying, cursing, or just down right mean? It is time to do so teaching, praying, and deliverance. Is your leader manipulating, controlling, and stealing? It is time for you not to judge, but to pray and watch God move. Let us ask God to help us with these intimate Issues.
