When God calls and equips you as an ArmorBearer you may find it hard to find someone to tell you exactly what that is. It is a position of Honor. We must first seek the Lord for clear understanding. We must first seek the Lord for clear understanding. During this time of seeking you must study to show yourself approved. Your first sourse of information should always be your bible. Can you find it in the Word? He is the same yesterday, today and forever more. Once you Know , then you will be able to flow effectively. Only when you know will you be able to make your calling an election sure.The essence of this gift is to free the Christian worker to devote more time to a spiritual ministry. An ArmourBearer is a servant unto the Most High God. We are called to bear up the arms of the Leaders, to serve and assist the Saints of God accomplish their God given Assignments and Visions. An ArmourBearer is a part of the Ministry of Helps. It is a Towel Ministry. Can you serve the God in someone else? Can you meet the Need?
Webster defines attendant as; accompanying, waiting upon, following in order to perform a service. The Word atted means to pay attention to, to look after, to take charge of , to or stay with as a companion, nurse, or servant.
Easton's Bible Dictionary defines ARMOUR-BEARER an officer selected by kings and generals because of his bravery, not only to bear their armour, but also to stand by them in the time of danger. They were the adjutants of our modern armies (Judges 9:54; 1 Samuel 14:7; 1 Samuel 16:21; 1 Samuel 31:6).
