HIS TRAINING - SEPTEMBER'S REWARD
September's Assignment

His Monthly Tip

“Is it [your purpose] not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house when thou seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh? Then shall thy light break forth as the morning and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the LORD shall be thy rearward [rear guard]” (Isaiah 58:7-8).

As my friend would say “Miracles and Blessings everyone”. I pray that you enjoyed your August training and have since applied the Concept of Fasting and praying to your lifestyle. September’s Training is on The Reward of the Lord.

Luke 12:32 (KJV) Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

Just lift your hands and receive it. Here you will find why you qualify for the reward of the Lord. Lack of knowledge is a terrible thing. It is because we don’t know that we often faint and miss our reward. In this training you will be made aware of several crowns. The crown was among the Romans and Greeks a symbol of victory and reward. The crown or wreath worn by the victors in the Olympic games was made of leaves of the wild olive; in the Pythian games, of laurel; in the Nemean games, of parsley; and in the Isthmian games, of the pine. The Romans bestowed the “civic crown” on him who saved the life of a citizen. It was made of the leaves of the oak. In opposition to all these fading crowns the apostles speak of the incorruptible crown, the crown of life (James 1:12; Rev. 2:10) “that fadeth not away” (1 Peter 5:4, Gr. amarantinos; comp. 1 Peter 1:4). The Bible speaks of crowns that will be won by those with whom God is pleased. They are expressions of His delight for all of us who run in such a way that will win the prize. God’s rewards are more wonderful than any human mind has ever been able to imagine.

1 Cor. 2:7-10 (KJV) But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: [8] Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. [9] But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. [10] But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. Please know that Rewards are contingent upon obedience. Let us be as the twenty and four elders and cast every reward at the Father’s feet and know that your reward is with Christ Jesus. Let me quote another friend of mine and say Have a victorious life in the Lord.

Rev. 22:12 (KJV) And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.

“The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne” (Rev. 4:10).

“But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, to redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons. And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father” (Galatians 4:4-6).

Mark 10:40 (KJV) But to sit on my right hand and on my left hand is not mine to give; but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared.

Jesus said that some will sit on His right and some on His left hand. God is preparing to bestow such honor upon some. This points toward degrees of glory in heaven.

Jesus said that the right to reign with Him is to be determined by God alone (that is, His absolute justice). He also makes a distinction between the great, who only commit themselves to minister and the chief (greatest), who commit themselves to be bond-slaves.

Luke 6:35-36 (KJV) But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil. [36] Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.

He shall receive a great reward. All that the believer suffers and loses on earth will be restored. But note: what he lost will not only be restored, he will receive well beyond what he has lost. He will receive an enormous reward for having obeyed the Lord and for having sacrificed in order to meet the needs of a dying world. What will the great reward be? It will be at least twofold: eternal life and inheriting all that God the Father has.

“And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward” (Matthew 10:42).

“His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord” (Matthew 25:23).

“The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints” (Ephes. 1:18).
