Time to rejoice

“Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed” (1 Peter 2:24).

This is a month of Festive celebration and preparations of deliverance from sin and bondage. Easter, Passover, and “feast of unleavened bread" are a few names you will hear describing this Celebration. What we are to do during this time is sometimes unclear because of the many different teachings, traditions, and family practices. We all have reason to celebrate, what Christ has done for us. We should evaluate our lives to bring it into alignment with the Word. The price paid for deliverance and bondage is what the cross is all about. How much did you pay for your deliverance? As we build a firm Foundation of knowledge about our deliverance and salvation we can then begin to truly celebrate the reason for the season. There should still be tears, grief, and amazement when the story of the cross is told. It should always be personal simply because He did it for you. The Body of Christ tend to devalue the price paid by Christ the Savior. Where is our Thank you? Does your lifestyle show forth praise of Him? You know the one who brought you out of darkness into the marvelous light. You may say He did that for those Israelites and the people of His time. Has the death angle passed- over you, Has the old man passed away, has your sins been forgiven? If the answer is yes, then this celebration is for you. Where is the party at? Right here at His Voice, Where the word of God will enlighten you, instructs you, and guide you into all righteousness. What no party for Christ? Well, maybe with an increase knowledge you will invite others to do an inventory of their homes, their lives, and their relationship with Christ.

PASSOVER the name given to the chief of the three great historical annual festivals of the Jews. It was kept in remembrance of the Lord's passing over the houses of the Israelites (Exodus 12:13) when the first born of all the Egyptians were destroyed. It is called also the “feast of unleavened bread” (Exodus 23:15; Mark 14:1; Acts 12:3), because during its celebration no leavened bread was to be eaten or even kept in the household (Exodus 12:15). The Passover was a feast, a joyous and festive occasion. It was a feast when all of God’s people were to be celebrating God’s glorious deliverance of Israel out of the bondage of Egypt. Today we know that our deliverance from sin and bondage happened when Christ came, suffered, and died that we might be forgiven our sins and that we would have everlasting life.

The idea is commitment and obedience to it. In order to be saved, men must hear and follow Jesus’ Word, doing exactly as He says. They are saved by believing God, by believing that God has sent His Son jesus Christ to save them. How men are saved? They are saved by hearing Jesus’ Word.

Romans 10:9 (KJV) That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

Romans 10:13 (KJV) For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

  • Christ the propitiation. It is His blood—His sacrifice, His death, His sufferings, His cross—that causes God to accept Jesus as the propitiation.
It is the blood of Christ that God accepts as...
    the sacrifice for our sins.
  • the covering for our sins.
  • the satisfaction for our sins.
  • the payment for the penalty of our sins.
  • the appeasement of His wrath against sin.

“Wherefore in all things it behooved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation [propitiation] for the sins of the people” (Hebrews 2:17).

“My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: and he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world” (1 John 2:1-2).

“Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins” (1 John 4:10).

“For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins” (Matthew 26:28).

“And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission” (Hebrews 9:22).

“So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation” (Hebrews 9:28).

“I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly” (John 10:10).

“Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live” (John 11:25).

“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me” (John 14:6).

“That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord” (Romans 5:21).

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16).

“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8).

2 Cor. 5:17 (KJV)
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Luke 21:31-33 (KJV)
So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand. [32] Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled. [33] Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.

Luke 17:14 (KJV)
And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go shew yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed.

Romans 3:25 (KJV)
Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
“Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all” (Isaiah 53:4-6).

“For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit” (1 Peter 3:18).

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live” (John 5:25).

“And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day” (John 6:40).

“Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live” (John 11:25).

Happy Easter!

Tip of the Month: What good is your Ministry if It is Not received? Do everything in the Spirit of Love. Do it as you would have others do unto you. Not How they do unto you but as you would Have them do.

Monthly Instruction:

On the night of the Passover, God had told Israel to make final preparations for being delivered from Egyptian bondage. However, the Israelites did not have time to bake leavened bread. They had to bake bread without leaven because of the time it takes for leavened bread to rise. The Feast of Unleavened Bread is simply one of the Passover ceremonies by which Israel remembered God’s glorious deliverance of their forefathers from Egyptian bondage.

There was a ceremony by which all leaven within the house had to be removed. It must be remembered that leaven was a symbol of evil to the Jews. In removing all leaven, they were picturing the need for putting evil out of their lives and household. There was an actual search made throughout the rooms of the house. The people looked for any crumb of leaven that might have fallen upon the floor and under or between some furniture. Whatever leaven was found, no matter how small a crumb, it was removed from the house. By removing all leaven from their households, the Jews were saying they wanted to be included among the faithful of their forefathers. They wanted to be counted as the faithful who purified and cleansed their lives and households for the journey of deliverance from bondage and slavery.

Exodus 12:19 (KJV) Seven days shall there be no leaven found in your houses: for whosoever eateth that which is leavened, even that soul shall be cut off from the congregation of Israel, whether he be a stranger, or born in the land.

The assignment For march is to search and find sin in your home, your life and put it out. Be Blessed.
